Collection features c. 50 handwritten and 5 printed items bound in contemporary sheep. It consists of correspondence and pleadings concerning a suit brought in November 1873 by John G. Stevens, Abram S. Hewitt and Charles Wilson Opdyke against the Oswego Midland Railroad Company. Included are the bill of complaint, amendments and supplements to the bill, answers to the complaint, a record of all the trustees of the Railroad, companies impleaded with Oswego Midland, attorneys involved for both the complainants and the defendants up to the final decree, entered October 1876.
